The Story Behind Dubs
After 9 years of honorable service in the United States Army, the owner of Dubs Mobile Welding & Contracting came home with a mission: build something real with his own hands. He enrolled at UTI (Universal Technical Institute) to formalize the welding skills he'd been developing, and came out with some of the most respected certifications in the trade.
He earned his 6G TIG certification — the gold standard in pipe welding — along with aluminum TIG certification, and went on to work as a cryogenic welder, handling some of the most demanding and precise welding work in the industry. That background means every job gets the same level of care, whether it's a farm gate or a critical structural repair.
Dubs Mobile Welding was born from a simple idea: bring professional-grade welding directly to the customer. No hauling equipment to a shop. No waiting in line. Just a certified welder showing up ready to work, wherever you need him.
